What the Arcadis Rate Assumes

The rate should not be treated as an all-in project price.

Arcadis bases its figures on fixed-price competitive tenders and measures floor area to the external face of the building. The calculation includes spaces such as stairwells, shafts, plant rooms, and similar service areas.

This benchmark also assumes:

  • Flat ground and Normal soil conditions
  • No basement construction
  • Minimal external works

It excludes:

  • Land acquisition
